Well, i will tell you a little about this little workhorse.It has its roots in the Citroën 2CV - that dates back as a prototype to 1939 - the 2CV we now know is dating back to 1948. But a lot of changes have been since then,not a single bit from the 1948 2CV can be used on the last one made in 1990, even though they look quite similar in design. Anyways, the original 2CV had some offspring, the Ami, the Dyane, and finally in 1969 the Mehari range. All based on the same floorpan..only with different engines and bodywork |
